I have been the epitome* of laziness. I sit at my computer several times a day, but I don’t bother to put in a post. Sorry! I don’t think it’s that I don’t have anything to say-many of you are probably laughing at the idea of this. I just don’t feel like posting. There, I said it.
And the picture-taking is a little slow lately. I took a great one-day Nikon class a few weeks ago, and started to learn a whole lot more about what my camera can do. Now I need to apply it. One of the things the instructors told us is that you just need to get out there and play. So that’s going onto my agenda. I’m going to try to take my camera with me more places to practice. I wish I had it with me on my run this morning-it was foggy, but the sun was coming up (yep, I run that early!) and it looked awesome at one point. But I was about 10 minutes away from my house, and by the time I got back home, got my camera, and got back there, the sun would have been too high. Sigh. Some other time.
Anyway, I’ll try to be back here more often. And I’ll try to post more pictures. Not just of the boys, though a lot of those are pretty fun. We’ll see what I can come up with.
*”Epitome” was a sixth-grade vocab word in Mr. Lipsky’s class. Every day he’d have a word posted at the door, and you’d have to shake his hand to say good morning and then try to pronounce the word. We all said “ep-i-tome” (rhymes with yep-ih-home). Ah, the memories…
