I wasn’t sure if I was going to participate in Beth’s assignment this week. I wasn’t sure I could come up with something for the challenge. But then I remembered this sweet pooch from Bastille Days last weekend.
Meet Sophie. Look at her unique marking on her side.
I have fallen in love with Basset Hounds. Aren’t they adorable? Maybe we’ll consider one when we’re ready to bring a dog back into our home. Any thoughts?

Love this. Perfect for shapes week!
Oh my gosh, her marking is amazing. Really great capture.
Oh…reminds me of our dear little puppy, Max–he had a heart shape on him as well. His had half of an arrow through one end–sort of like Cupid! 🙂 Love your capture! I also LOVE your header picture of the two babies sleeping–that is simply precious!!
In answer to your question, I love the Wii Active. It’s a pretty good workout. I especially love the kickboxing.
how awesome is that???
Oh my that is awesome! Is she really old. She has lost all her face color and I know that is a sign of age with beagle hounds.
I heart the heart! Very good capture!
How cool is that. We used to have an Aussie who’s spots connected together to make a number 4 and his sister’s did as well.
Oh, I heart Sophie!!
What a cutie with a perfect heart!
Oh my word … cute pup and almost perfect heart!
Oh, how cute!
My family owned a basset hound up until this last spring. Sadly we had to put dear Wally down, but he was a GREAT dog to have around. The entire family loved him. The one thing that you should be aware of is that they have their own very distinct odor, so we had to put Wally on a special diet. But other than that, they really are great family dogs!
Adorable! Now I want a dog with a heart-shaped marking. 🙂
