Noah had his 5-year check-up yesterday. I always like to see how he’s doing on the growth chart. He is 44.5 inches tall, which is the 81st percentile. He’s 43.6 pounds, which is the 70th percentile. They also calculate his BMI which is 52%. I was pretty shocked and concerned when I saw that number, because that’s considered obese for adults! There’s no way Noah is obese! He can’t keep his pants up many days! The doctor said 85% is considered obese for kids. Whew!
Tonight we spent a lot of time building a Lego castle. We have a long way to go before it’s done. I’ve never played with Legos like this before! My brother played with them a lot as a kid, but I don’t remember spending time with him studying the pictorial instructions on how to build stuff. It’s kind of fun, but somewhat frustrating as you dig through all the minuscule pieces to find that one piece you need!
