I had images of taking shots of the boys as they played in the sprinkler, slid along the slip-n-slide, or splashed in the pool. But our lovely Wisconsin weather had other plans. There were some cooler temperatures, a lot of clouds, and quite a bit of rain. So rain will have to suffice for “water” for this week.
I’ve found it to be quite difficult to capture the rain with my camera as it falls so I found evidence of the previous rain.
A puddle on the deck with a reflection of the tree overhead.
Raindrops on petals of the flowers and on leaves in my garden.
Head over to Beth’s to check out some more shots of water!
Love your water shots!
We had lots of rain here, too. Not till yesterday did I get the outdoor water pictures. 🙂
I love these – this is what I had in mind with my water photos, but the humidity took over. I’ve gotta learn how to shoot in NC summer humidity.
I LOVE that first photo. Something about it just clicks withe me.
Great captures!

I LOVE the water you captured. Who would think a puddle would be so pretty. Just gorgeous!
And rain droplets. So soft and pretty. I want to get a picture of droplets this week!
I love the first shot. Amazing to find that in such a drab place. =)
Oh, I love these shots- so pretty! And your Wisconsin weather sounds lovely compared to the 96 degree, HOT, sunny weather we are having. I wanna play in the rain : ).
