I really didn’t think I’d get this post up and ready. I’m up to my elbows in rummage sale stuff. We’ve been prepping for weeks, and finally the weekend is here and we’ve got wonderful weather! I’m purging a bunch of baby stuff, and it feels kind of good (even though I’m sad that we’re probably done having kids)!
Anyway, Beth challenged us to work on some depth of field pictures, trying to capture some yummy bokeh. (I don’t know why I call it yummy, but it fits!) Anyway, I got out my camera this morning and headed across the street to my neighbor’s yard. I’ve been admiring her alium for the past few days, and I figured it would make a good subject for this week’s challenge.
Check out more yummy bokeh over at Beth’s!
These are beautiful!
You did a great job on short time. 🙂 I have given up on rummage/garage sales–love to shop at them, but never will host another one myself. Too much effort! Good for you!
AMAZING color in your photos!! Purple is my favorite color. I love these! Well done.
Awesome. These are so beautiful! I love the shape and color.
So even if purple wasn’t already my favorite color, I think your photo would have convinced me. Beautiful shot.
These are lovely. I love the color. I also really like the way you’ve got kind of a graduating focus in the first shot. Very cool.
Ohhh those are really cool!! Love them 🙂
Oooooo! Purple! Can’t go wrong with purple.
The purple is amazing and beautiful!
Stunning. I love the perspective you shot- feels like you are right on level with the flowers 😉
Beautiful alium! I love the depth of color too. =)
