I got too lazy last week and skipped the assignment. The theme was “rustic” and I was having a hard time coming up with possibilities. As we drove to Madison, we passed numerous rustic-looking barns and farmhouses (appropriate for the Dairy State I live in), but it’s hard to take pictures of them when you’re driving and going 78 mph. And then I was too tired that night to blog about it, so I just passed.
But I’m back this week, and I really liked the challenge of “letters.” I had a lot of ideas. But just the other day, I got my true inspiration.
The top picture is for me, and it’s a submarine. The bottom picture is for Andy, and it’s a UPS truck. He asked us how to spell “you” and then brought these pictures over to us. I love them!
He’s been working very hard on writing and reading lately. Andy and I can’t spell things around him anymore! But it’s a lot of fun. He’s totally ready for kindergarten (even if I’m not!).
