We had a nice Easter today. I got up early to Shred, then had to keep the boys from coming downstairs too early! Once we allowed them to come down, they were excited to find their baskets of goodies.
Then they hunted for eggs in our living room. Note to self: it’s best to hide eggs with someone else so that someone else can help you remember where they were all hidden! Yeah, I hid them myself, then forgot I had hidden one by the Wii.
After breakfast, we were off to church, where they had an Easter Egg Hunt before the service. They let the kids hunt in waves. First, kids Caden’s age got to start.
One last egg for each of them:
After church we headed to Andy’s parents’ house for a yummy ham lunch. I brought Swedish Coffee Cake which is usually a Christmas tradition but was requested for Easter this year. I made it look like a bunny head (sort of!).
And here are some pictures from egg decorating yesterday (Star Wars themed eggs, of course!):
Happy Easter everyone!!!
