This afternoon we finally got to spend some time with my dear friend, Liz, and her three kids who live in Massachusetts. I say “finally” because rather than being in the Milwaukee area all week like originally planned, they have been in Chicago with family as her grandmother is not doing well.
I’m so glad we got to spend a couple of hours together. It’s been over a year since we’ve seen each other. I hadn’t even met Elijah yet! After his health scare this past summer, it was nice to play with a healthy 9 month old! And my boys and Liz’s girls get along really well…at least they do as long as my kids aren’t getting overly excited and crazy! I got to practice some of my photography class stuff with Elijah, too!
